Anastasios Koularmanis And His Dynamic Perspective About Greek Education

Dr. Anastasios Koularmanis has literally set a benchmark in the world of Greek education in the United States. At present, he is presiding over the post of The superintendent at the Saint Demetrios Greek American School. It is located in Astoria, New York. Mr. Koularmanis began his career some 28 years back since 1992. On 1st September 2000, he was deployed as the Principal of the Saint Demetrios Greek American School. On top of all, he has been serving there successfully for the last two decades.

Dr. Koularmanis took birth in Toronto, Canada and is currently residing in New Jersey. He has two exceptionally talented sons named Ioannis and Demetrios. Mr. Koularmanis also considers himself fortunate enough to have got a wife like Mary Foukas.

As an administrator and educator, Dr. Anastasios married to Mary Koularmanis has made prominent contributions to Greek academia. He began his employment at St. Demetrios in 1999 as an assistant principal Instantly after that he was promoted to the post of principal over there. Mr. Koularmanis mad.e the best of his endeavors to uplift the standards of Saint Demetrios School’s education system. Fortunately, he was super successful in doing so. This gave Saint Demetrios School the recognition of the best parochial school in New York.

Some of the most eminent dignitaries were oh-so impressed by Dr. Koularmanis’s performances. This led him to procure a financial backup of around $3 million from them. The support came from some of the remarkable luminaries of NYC. These included the NYC State Department of Education, Dr. Apostolos Tambakis, and the Niarchos Foundation , etc. Furthermore, Dr. Koularmanis recreated the school’s syllabi and educational fabric.
